Core to Canopy is proud to partner with Mind Wellness Studio, a culturally safe and trauma- informed wellbeing service based in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne. Mind Wellness Studio provides mental health education, coaching, and wellbeing support, including Mental Health First Aid training and organisational wellbeing services.
Together, Core to Canopy and Mind Wellness Studio share a commitment to supporting the wellbeing, confidence, and empowerment of multicultural and Muslim women. This partnership creates opportunities for women to access welcoming spaces where their cultural identities, faith, family experiences, and individual journeys are respected.
Supporting Women’s Wellbeing
Our collaboration recognises that multicultural and Muslim women may navigate multiple responsibilities, identities, expectations, and social environments. We aim to create spaces where women can pause, connect with others, build practical wellbeing tools, and reflect on what empowerment means in the context of their own lives.
Through this partnership, we seek to support women to:
Strengthen emotional wellbeing and self-understanding.
Build confidence and practical strategies for managing stress.
Explore identity, belonging, relationships, and life transitions.
Connect with other women in a safe and welcoming environment.
Draw on cultural and faith-informed strengths where meaningful to them.
Feel empowered to make choices aligned with their values and aspirations.
A Shared Community Commitment
The partnership between Core to Canopy and Mind Wellness Studio is grounded in collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and community care. We believe wellbeing is strengthened when women are not expected to navigate challenges alone, and when support reflects the realities of their lived experiences.
Together, we are committed to developing initiatives that promote connection, learning, mental health awareness, and collective empowerment. These may include women’s wellbeing programs, psychoeducation, community conversations, and opportunities for social connection.
Mind Wellness Studio also hosts community-focused activities that bring women together in a supportive local setting, including social wellbeing events in Hoppers Crossing.
Creating Welcoming Spaces
Our shared intention is to contribute to a community where multicultural and Muslim women feel seen, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Through Core to Canopy’s counselling, psychoeducation, and community workshops, alongside Mind Wellness Studio’s culturally responsive mental health education, coaching, and wellbeing offerings, we are working towards a wider network of support for women and their communities.
Together, we are nurturing wellbeing from the core, strengthening connection, and creating a canopy of support where women can grow with confidence and belonging.
